The Last Witness

A melancholy night beneath a rising moon... a forgotten bayou where nothing remains save a scattering of partially submerged headstones slowly sinking beneath gradually rising waters... last remnants, perhaps, of the burying ground for members of the old church nearby... its gravesites forgotten, unvisited, unremembered by generations that came, lived their span, then went... their ebbing existence known here only to... the last witness.

This painting may remind you of my popular subject, Tilted Angel. It was, in fact, created as a complement to that painting, which is now the theme of a new Haunted Studio Ouija board. Created by The Brothers Johnson, this new board joins my Thirteen Spooks, Maybe More Ouija board, long a favorite with Friends of The Haunted Studio.

The Last Witness has been meticulously scanned from my original watercolor painting and digitally printed with fade-resistant inks on specially treated heavyweight watercolor paper. I personally inspect your print, sign and mat it, slip it into its protective clear plastic envelope, and include with it a page of helpful framing hints from The Haunted Studio.

This subject began its life as a mid-size painting, and thus is available in Medium Format size only.
